-2,2'-Azino-bis (3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonate) (ABTS) is a peroxidase substrate commonly used in ELISA procedures. The reaction produces a solube green end product that can be measured at 450nm. The enzymatic reaction can terminated using 1% SDS or 1.5 mM  N_aN₃ in 0.1M Citric Acid.
