6 X Alkaline gel-loading buffers is one of the most commonly used buffers for protein gel electrophasis sample preparation. It contains 300mM NaOH, 6mM EDTA， 18% (w/v) Ficoll (Type) 400, Pharmacia), 0.15% (w/v) bromocresol green, 0.25% (w/v) xylene cyanol.
