Description
The RNA Ladder, Low range, is a set of seven RNA transcripts with lengths of 100, 200, 300, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 bases. RNA transcripts are produced from specific templates, containing a fragment of the pTZ19R polylinker and λ phage sequences. The RNA Ladder, Low Range, is suitable for analysis of small RNA in native or denaturing agarose or polyacrylamide gels and can be easily visualized by ethidium bromide staining.
Supplied in Storage Buffer
20mM potassium scetata (pH 4.5)
2x Loading Dye Solution
95% formamide, 0.025% SDS,
0.025% bromophenol blue, 0.025% xylene cyanol FF,
0.025% ethidium bromide, 0.5mM EDTA.
Quality Control Assay Data
Analysis of 1ug (2 ul)of RNA Ladder, Low Range, on a native agarose gel and polyacrylamide gel with ethidium bromide staining generates a clear seven-band pattern.
Quality authorized by: Dalia Cesiuliene
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
Mix the contents well before use by pipetting or gentle vortexing as concentration gradients may form in frozen products over time.
Prepare the mix before loading as following:
-2 ul of 2x Loading Dye Solution,
-2 ul (1 ug) of RNA Ladder, Low
Range.
Vortex briefly, spin down and heat at 70℃ for 10 min. Chill quickly on ice and load on to an agarose gel by applying 0.125 ug (0.25 ul) of RNA Ladder per 1 mm of gel ane width.
Following electrophoretic separation the RNA bands can be visualized by ethidium bromide staining.
Caution
This product is extremely sensitive to degradation by ribonucleases. The use of diethyl pyrocarbonate-treated solutions and protective gloves is recommended.
